Eleanor & Jack
Wedding
Lulu Browns was the first and only bridal gown boutique I visited. When Jack and I got engaged, Lulu Browns was recommended to me by his cousin so I immediately visited their website and social media and found myself scrolling through images of their simply beautiful boutique in awe!
The range of designers and gown styles really impressed me and (surprisingly) it was the first website I had visited that showed pricing, which is one of the necessary logistics to any bride. They were as relaxed and welcoming in store as they are on their Instagram page.
There was absolutely no pressure to commit to a dress and we were given time for me to try dresses on (with help getting into them), move in them and get the verdict of my mum and bridesmaids.
The purchasing and communication was made simple and, despite my anxieties, it was one of the most effortless elements of wedding planning!
Having visited Lulu Browns’ social media and website (too many times to count), I already had a few dresses in mind that I knew I wanted to try.
I didn’t think it would be as simple as saying ‘yes’ to one of these so booked my visit to Lulus 18 months before our wedding day – I needn’t have worried!
I tried my favourite dress of my picks on first – January by Blue by Enzoani – and, after a handful of dresses more, I found myself back in it.
The intricate lace gave the dress a romantic feel and I loved how lightweight it was: perfect for dancing!
Our favourite moment from our wedding day was immediately after we said our vows.
Jack had selected Wonderwall by Oasis to play and, as soon as the chorus kicked in, the whole room started singing to us!
I’d never felt so much love in a room and it really was the dream moment. It will stay with us forever.

For some people, wedding planning isn’t stressful but for many others (including myself), it can feel overwhelming at times.
When you visit Lulus, take time to enjoy the moment – you certainly won’t be rushed or feel under pressure to commit there and then.
They’ll supply the tea and give you their time, opinions and advice with styling (I never thought I’d go for a veil but they helped me to select the perfect pairing for my dress).
Try on not only different styles but also different materials/textures; it’s not only the shape of a dress that can really change the look.
Enjoy the whole experience - you'll look back after your wedding and want to re-live it all over again!
